Trouble Man : Heavy Is the Head is the eighth studio album by American hip hop recording artist T.I.. The album is set to be released on December 18, 2012, under Grand Hustle and Atlantic Records.
'The Introduction' is a soul genre which sets up the pace perfectly for the new album.'G.Season' disappointed me and lacked power to evoke interest in the listener, Meek Mill featured in this song and his usual verses causes fatigue among us.'Trap Back Jumpin' is the third single of the album which was pre-released and it covers up the old trap style in T.I. and turns out to be a dope.'Wildside' with A$AP Rocky starts with a little conversation between T.I. and his friends and they were chased by cops, while coming to the song T.I. raps about his ordianary lifestyle, ASAP asusual impresses.'Ball' with "Tunechi" "Lil Wayne" is a usual street rap, T.I. was cool but the track falls short on some places.'Sorry' stands out to be the best and 'Andre 3000' drops some serious fast rap verses which are the best part of the song.'Go Get It' the lead single of the album is ambitious and will take you back to the classic hip-hop style, T.I. is more generous and presented the track well. 'Guns N Roses' with the pop diva 'Pink' a mix of hip-hop and pop beats turns out to be a good attempt.'Crusin' is forgettable the beats sounds pretty ordinary to us and doesnt make much impact.'Heloo' with the R&B artist CeeLo Green is more flat and smooth but these kinda tracks doesnt make you feel excited and happy.'Wonderful Life' featuring Akon sounds new and interesting but the usual slang of Akon is ordianry and T.I. filled up the track with conversations between his father and others.
I agree that T.I. is a classic hip-hop artist but at a certain point he must try something different."Trouble Man" will totally impress you, but this not which stands out for years. So its a fine attempt by T.I. not totally disappointing like other artists. Some tracks were not much as they are expected. But i suggest you to go buy "Trouble Man"
My Rating - 3.5/5
