"Unorthodox Jukebox" is the second studio album of the pop sensation 'Bruno Mars' under Atlantic Records.
Opening the album with the beautiful 'Young Girls' in which he expresses all his feelings over the prettiest girls with his lovely vocals accompanied by piano.'Locked out of Heaven' the Police-ish lead single of the album brings out a different genre in Mars but maintains the perfect vibe. 'Gorilla' the one which is explicit and proves to be the most raunchy track Mars ever released and turns out crazy by the end. In 'Treasure' Mars brings out some old pop/rock genres of 80's, the beautiful mixed up beats from the band definitely worked out. 'Moonshine' the one i personally loved the most, Mars sings "Moonshine, take us to the stars tonight,Take us to that special place,That place we went the last time, the last time" with midtempo beats and the lovely flow of guitar. 'When I Was Your Man' which only featured vocals of Mars and the piano is a simple breakup song. 'Natalie' tells us about a girl who took his money and ran is more of a energy and pumped up beats. 'Show Me' this is one genre that Mars experimented before "Reggae" which brings out the islander character in him.In 'Money Make Her Smile' he brings out the shades of the greedy girl who is more similar to Natalie.'If I Knew' is flat and simple and it ends the album.
So, Unorthodox Jukebox !!! This brings out many new directions in Mars along with his strong vocals and ingenious melodies. Every single track were not similar to the ones before, ofcourse, this is one of the best releases of the year.
