"Almeria" is the sixth studio album by American band Lifehouse. It will be released on December 11, 2012 by Geffen Records.
Starting with 'Gotta Be Tonight' the drum strikes and the vocals of Jason Wade keeps up the track and will get you moving.'Between the Raindrops' the lead single of the album embraces the rainy scene feeling both lyrically and musically, Bedingfield and Wade's beautiful vocals fills up the emotion in the song and the perfect vibe created throughout the song makes this particular track the best and the most lovable track of the album.'Moveonday' disappoints a bit due to the extra effort that Lifehouse has put to do something which is not of their style. But in few tracks the idea of making something different definitely worked out, tracks like 'Only You're The One' and 'Right Back Home' gives you the extra positive attitude which is badly needed to keep up the album.'Barricade' covers up the slow and subtle instrumentals of the band. Finally 'Aftermath' brings up the conventional formulaic style of Lifehouse the piano work was presented well.'Lady Day' like the title this tracks sounds different it says about a 18 year old girl which is very flat.
Firstly before the final verdict "Almeria" is only for the ones who have a calm state of mind cause its slow and simple, nothing strong was experimented and will set you off in a good feel."Between The Raindrops" is a must listen. Finally "Lifehouse" didnt score in trying something new but succeeded in other aspects which is great.
My Rating - 3.5/5
