How does social media networks shamble our lives in various upsetting situations. How do things go terribly wrong due to these circumstances? That pretty much sums up the plot of Disconnect.
Focussing on three various stories, Disconnect transacts with all kind of emotions from bullying to relationships and also explains all the bitter truths on how relationships are considered these days and they were absolutely dark and disturbing which will definitely hit you hard at some point of the movie.
Henry Alex Rubin did an awesome directing job, his decisiveness in exhibiting all the alarming outrageous situations was really brave and valiant. And I agree with the fact that they were few plot holes in the movie, the three narratives were not balanced well and I concur that the one which dealt with bullying and other stuff was presented well when compared to others.
Performances were pretty much solid in the movie, Jason Bateman did a fine job in his contrast role, each and every actor involved in the movie were truly remarkable in lighting up their realistic characters.
To conclude, Disconnect is really a hard-hitting movie which will impress you with its pragmatic approach. Its dark and was a lil slow paced, if you're a fan of dramatic genres, please watch it. The movie is worth your two hours of time.
