Life of Pi - Review
Life of Pi directed by Oscar-Winner Ang Lee is indeed a masterpiece. Adapted From Yann Martel's novel of the same name the story revolves around a young Indian teen Pi Surviving a shipwreck in a life boat with a Bengal Tiger called Richard Parker. Both don’t share a proper relationship. There is love, fear and tolerance. Their struggle for peaceful co-existence makes up the movie.
Life of Pi is a visual treat. The works on animation is done very well. Life of Pi features the best use of 3D and the film can be only compared to Avatar.
Ang Lee has made a perfect adult adventure film as the film deals with complex themes such as religion, spiritual and self discovering.
In the end, Life of Pi is only for adventure genre lovers and for others to feast their eyes with its visuals.
My Rating-4/5
