ABCD is an much awaited first 3D dance film of India directed by the well known choreographer Remo D' Souza starring the most popular and often known as Indian Michael Jackson "Prabhudeva" in the lead.
Music is composed by Sachin-Jigar who worked in Remo's previous film FALTU. Lyrics were written by Mayur Puri.
"Shambhu Sutaya" is a devotional number rendered with perfection by Shankar Mahadevan and Vishal Dadlani, its more like a Ganesh stuti sung during the ceremonies of festivals. The chants and the dhol beats synced well to deliver an exciting track.
"Bezubaan" is more like a melody scored with heavy some beats pounding on our ears, featuring Mohit Chauhan and Priya Oanchal in the lead. The western rap by Deane Sequeira adds more hip-hop style to the track. The lyrics penned down by Mayur Puri combined with different variations makes Bezubaan the best track of the album.
"Psycho Re" is out and out mass masala song filled with southern beats sung by Mika Singh and Udit Narayan. This entertains us when you watch it with Prabhu Deva's insane and funny moves on the big screen and this is choreographed to perfection by Ganesh Acharya. So better wait to enjoy this visually.
"Man Basiyo Saanwariyo" sung by Anusha Manchanda is a racy number and may reach the lady listeneres other than men. This is more situational and is made short to prevent distress.
"Chandu Ki Girl Friend" is a teasing number scored with some fresh beats which will perfectly suit the college atmosphere. Sung by some unusual artists namely Raman Mahadevan etc. this is a joy ride with some funny lyrics and will reach the youth most likely.
"Duhaai" featuring Madhav Krishna is a deep emotional track and is tried totally different when compared to other emotional feel songs. It potrays the perfect feel and the superb rendition maintained in it stands out.
"Sorry Sorry" has nothing much to talk about and is pretty much avoidable.
"Kar Ja Re Ya Mar Ja Re" is a passionate and a revengeful number sung by Suraj Jagan which may open up in the climax of the film.
" Saada Dil Vi Tu " filled with some extreme insane electro beats and the chants of ganapathi were continued till the end which sounds something awful to me.
Final Verdict : ABCD is an album which moves on with the film and suits the dance genre of the film. This is situational, different and worth listening atleast once or twice. You'l love Bezubaan but aint a unforgettable, long remembered song.
My Rating - 3/5
