Ek Thi Daayan is an upcoming Bollywood horror film directed by Kannan IyerThe film features Emraan Hashmi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Huma Qureshi and Kalki Koechlin.
What's going on people! We've got an Emraan Hashmi album released this week, obviously your expectations will be sky high and i say this is an perfect album, not only to his fans but also will grab the attention of all the natural music listeners. I say this is not an ordinary Emraan's trademark album, not the customary catchy tunes we usually listen. This has got something to articulate you, lyrics blend into you on the move, this is totally a classy album.
"Yaaram" - The album starts with the adoring yet entertaining "Yaaram" sung by Clinto Cerejo and Sunidhi Chauhan. Stuffed with some acoustic guitar and piano riffs, the pounding drum beats on the flow were a total joyride in the song. Lyrics were quite interesting and the musical arrangements were well organized. This is fresh, amusing and catchy. Long Remembered!
"Toted Ud Gaye" - This is quite interesting, the dhol beats accompanied with some autotunes were quite pleasurable for a while. The vocals were the actual soul for this track sung by Suresh Wadkar, Rekha Bhardwaj & Sukhwinder the humorous vibe was maintained and this quite situational and moves on with the film.
"Kaali Kaali" - This left me in surprise an moreover i really didnt expect this from Vishal Bhradwaj. It starts out quite compelling and stimulating with all the soft and euphonious beats surrounded all around. The song got a beautiful filled out vibe and is a musical brilliance. The amorous violin flow was astounding and remarkable. Clinton Cerejo's merges right in and balances the track well. Delightful!
"Lautungi Mein" - Sung by Rekha Bhradwaj, this track is too musch situational. The lyrics were the worthy ones of this song, has some depth crammed in it and potrays the love rendetion towards the one it mean. The two-pitched expressions were balanced magnificently by Rekha Bharadwaj and was arranged well by Vishal too.
"Saapna Re Saapna" - Sung by the Saregamapa little champs star Padmanabh Gaikwad this is has got something to rattle out from the little voice. He's adorable, endearing and sweet. Now, the actual thing is that we really dont want the little one to sing a meaningless, worthless track. The arrangements must be perfect and Vishal had done it again this time, the supple pleasant music was exceptional with all the light flute and dholak features. Enchanting!
Finally, this movie or album dont deal with Emraan Hashmi alone, so do not expect a mass album. This has got some beautiful lyrics penned by Gulzar and lovely music composed by Vishal Bharadwaj. If you still dont get it, fine we've got some commercial stuff coming up this summer! Wait!
My Rating - 4/5
