Ok, why im actually reviewing this Vivek Oberoi-Neha Sharma starrer? and maybe thats only for Atif Aslam as he featured in 3/4 songs in the album. The new composers Sachin-Jigar had composed the soundtracks and lyrics were written by Priya Panchal and Mayur Puri. After all the propaganda of releasing the singles before and making it more admired here comes Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story album.
Aa Bhi Ja Mere Mehermaan - This is more like a romantic heart fluttering one featuring Atif Aslam and has all the tranquil feel and capability to magnetize the youngsters. The punching beats in the middle were a bit annoying but the harmonious ambience created was flawless. Lyrics were beautifully penned down and may suit the feel in the movie.
Thoda Thoda - Featuring Shreya Ghosal & the composer Sachin, this has a totally renewed feel allover. The pleasant feel vocals with some impeccable fusion arrangements and the internal instrumentals were great which renders the perfect output.
Dil Na Jaane Kyun - Ok this really didnt turn out like they expected it to be, the techno/computerised beats attempt dint workout. The beats were deficient and ordinary and actually sounds like the standard english pop track. Atif was wasted and moreover not needed for this kinda party numbers. Finally its a FAIL!
Hai Na - Blended with some guitar riffs and the electronic testers, i gotta confess that this is totally boring and tedious . Atif was ok and the lyricist Priya Panchal who crooned in this song is conventional and doesnt pack a punch.
Final Verdict : This album has all the big names to make it widespread. The first two songs were good to the ear but the remaining were just awful. On the whole, all i can say that this is a good attempt.
My Rating - 2.5/5
