Table No. 21 is an action thriller film directed by Aditya Datt, featuring Rajeev Khandelwal,Tena Desae, and Paresh Rawal.
Plot : Vivaan (Rajeev Khandelwal) and Siya (Tena Desae) are a married couple for five years and fly to the beautiful Fiji Islands just for a holiday. Few days pass by as the couple enjoys the lovely and mesmerizing locales of the island. On their fifth wedding anniversary they've been invited to a party on the island nearby which is a part of their holiday trip and they were greeted by Khan (Paresh Rawal) who himself is the host of the party they were invited to. After a few exchange of words Khan explains the couple about a game which consists of eight questions and with a physical task linked up with each question and if they overcome all the eight questions they will be given 21 crores as prize money, the only rule of the game is not to lie. Henceforth the movie caption "IF YOU LIE YOU DIE". The real story initiates with the questions and finally the climax bangg.
Cast & Crew : Paresh Rawal had done the role with ease with his darker shades which confronts us a typical roleplay and was extremely superb throughout the film. Rajeev Khandelwal and Tena Desae does a decent job with which they are given. Inspite of his previous films Aditya Datt the director showed up with a different storyline and also the bravery in attempting these kinda thrillers was really appreciatable. He didnt lead a single scene go low either with the performances nor with the taking. Production house must be appreciated for believeing that these kind off genres really work.
Final Verdict : Noone actually dares to bring these kind off movie genres in front of the audience, But Table No.21 entertains us in all aspects from the beginning till the end and finally succeeded. This is a movie with a strong message which is not to be missed. Totally worth every penny you spent in watching.
My Rating - 4/5
