Shahid is certainly a stimulating vision in which we assimilate a whole bunch of inspirational things and also get to learn about a fearsome individual who faced many vicious consequences which transformed him into a controversial persona of our generation.
Based on a true life story, Shahid unveils all the bitter factual incidents which occurred in the life of Shahid Azmi, a human rights activist who was heartlessly been murdered in 2010.
Director Hansan Mehta was never in an uncomfortable position in displaying the true bitter facts of the individual, his study and the creativity in presenting a meditative cinema has to be appreciated.
Raj Kumar Yadav performed his role with determination and confidence that a lawyer should depict and his trouble-free posture and delivery were remarkable and authentic.
Nevertheless, Shahid doesn't deal with something extraordinary, there is indeed something beyond the movie which we should learn and discover. It will undoubtedly impress you when you don't take this as a movie which gives you the entertainment factor. Obviously, its a slow paced movie, but that's how a director should narrate a biopic.
