Jeff Nichols - “Mud”
Starring Matthew McConaughey in the lead, Mud deals with an earnest and a profound plot which includes adventure, emotion and inspiration. The eternal drama and the emotive storyline sways your heart with compassion and few extraordinary performances from the leads makes it a strong movie that you can easily relate to. I deeply recommend it to everybody and is one of the best movies I've seen in 2013.
Joseph Gordon Levitt's - “Don Jon”
Starring JGL, Scarlett Johansson and Julianne Moore in the leads, Don Jon is the directional debut by Mr. Levitt which deals with an unique and a genuine plot which is been told in a very unconventional way. The repetitive story telling approach was quite contemporary as it unfolded the plot beautifully and concluded really well giving us a solid authentic love story which was simple yet debatable. Watch it if you're a familiar with straight forward and honest love stories.
