Ryan Coogler's - "Fruitvale Station"
Based on a true story, Fruitvale Station exhibits the final day events of Oscar Grant (portrayed by Michael B. Jordan) who was shot dead accidentally by the local BART police back in 2009 after being involved in a minor conflict on New Year's Eve.
Displaying on how the movie will conclude initially, Fruitvale Station mounts with immense emotion which makes us feel about this poor individual being dead in a very young age who has a daughter to deal with. Subsequent to that, the movie makes us think about how uncertain our tiny little life could be, as we never know what happens the very next minute.
Ryan Coogler (Director) had made an impressive debut with his genuine approach as it was quite challenging to deal with a poignant real life subject. Michael B. Jordan stands out as the centre lead of the film, his portrayal was realistic as we understand the emotion through his eyes which was absolutely moving and sentimental.
Fruitvale Station was strong, emotional and hard-hitting which will definitely leave you in silence for the next few hours after the movie. One of the best in 2013 and I recommend you to watch it.

PS: I only recommended one movie for this week cause I personally feel that Fruitvale Station deserves a special mention all alone.
