Peter Jackson's - “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey”
The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is the first instalment in The Hobbit Trilogy. It is the prequel to the amazing Lord of the Rings movies and is also directed by the Oscar winning director Peter Jackson. This movie is based on the novel ‘The Hobbit’ written by J.R.R. Tolkien. An Unexpected Journey brings back the magic of Middle Earth after ten years since the Lord of the Rings movies came to an end. The adventure follows the journey of Bilbo Baggins (played by Martin Freeman), who is swept into an epic quest by Gandalf (played by Ian McKellen) and thirteen Dwarves to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor form the fearsome dragon Smaug.
This movie takes you back into the world of Middle Earth effortlessly and the use of the new 3D, CGI technologies and HFR enhanced the experience. The tone of the movie is less intense and lighter than the Lord of the Rings movies which is very apt because The Hobbit book is lighter than the Lord of the Rings books. This movie has got some spectacular action sequences but my favourite scene in the entire movie was ‘The Riddles in the Dark’ scene. Andy Serkis kills it as Gollum yet again. The Hobbit is an action-packed fun ride and if you are a fan of Lord of the Rings then you need to watch this movie.

Peter Jackson's - “The Lord of the Rings Trilogy”
As we continue celebrating our Middle-Earth movies special, lets share few things about 'The Lord of the Rings' one of the most celebrated and epic trilogy of all time. Directed by Peter Jackson LOTR is a complete joy ride filled with great adventure, weepy emotions and immense storyline which will definitely grab your attention and fetches you to an astounding cinematic experience with pragmatic CGI effects.
Sharing three hours of screen time for every movie, director Peter Jackson explains you every single detail of the movie in a rational way and few likeable characters including Frodo, Gandalf, Smeagol, Aragorn, Legolas and others are an absolute joy to watch. LOTR remains as one of the classic trilogy in Hollywood cinema and I highly recommend you to check it out in any case.
