Tom Hooper's - The King's Speech (Academy Award Winner - Best Picture)
How does King George VI overcome his stammering problem in life and went on to become a successful King pretty much enlightens the plot. Delimited with some great performances around from Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush, The King's Speech deals with an uncommon plot which was filled with realistic drama and emotions. Hooper's direction and the art design of the film makes the movie a definite watch.
Coen Brothers - "No Country for Old Men" (Academy Award Winner - Best Picture)
An absolute masterpiece of a film, NCFOM predominantly attracts you with it's concentrated screenplay which was completely composed and unruffled. Javier Bardem's brutal reticent performance builds up an acute apprehension in our minds which was well handled and delivered by The Coen Brothers. Definitely a must watch if you're a fan of dramatic thrillers.
